Plovdiv Excursion
Plovdiv is the second biggest city in Bulgaria and was founded around 4000 BC. It became an important Roman city and there are still remains to be seen from this time. We will see the Amphitheatre built in 114-177 by the Roman Emperor Trajan and destroyed by Attila in the 5th century. We will also go to the museum to learn more about Roman history. There is an opportunity to see Plovdiv town centre in the afternoon.
